What this statement covers
This statement explains how we handle personal data when you visit turkuazpeak.com, use the contact form, or place an order. Turkuaz Peak sells to businesses (B2B) across the European Union.
The data we collect and why
Contact form: your name, email address, VAT number and message — so we can answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare an offer. Basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you and taking steps prior to a contract.
Orders and payment: checkout is handled by Stripe. You enter your business name, billing and shipping address, VAT number and payment details directly with Stripe; we receive the order confirmation, the amounts, your VAT number and the address needed to ship and invoice. Basis: performance of the contract and our legal (tax and invoicing) obligations.
Email: if you email us, we keep that correspondence to deal with your request.
We do not use analytics, advertising or visitor tracking of any kind.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses only strictly necessary and functional storage: a cookie that remembers your chosen language (tp_locale), your shopping basket stored in your own browser (local storage), and Cloudflare’s security/anti-bot protection together with the Turnstile anti-spam check on the contact form (Turnstile is designed not to track you).
Because none of this is used for tracking or advertising, no cookie-consent banner is required under the EU ePrivacy rules. You can clear these items at any time in your browser settings.
Who we share data with
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers (processors) who act only on our instructions: Stripe Payments Europe (payment processing), Postmark (delivery of the contact-form email), Cloudflare (website hosting, DNS, content delivery, security and the Turnstile anti-spam check), and Hostinger (our @turkuazpeak.com email mailboxes).
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Most processing takes place within the EU/EEA. Where a provider such as Stripe or Cloudflare processes data outside the EEA, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Contact enquiries: only as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable follow-up period. Order and invoice records: for the period required by Dutch tax law (currently seven years). Functional cookies and local storage: as described above, until you clear them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@turkuazpeak.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
